LSU isn’t close to being done.
“Recruiting for us has just started,” Kelly said earlier this week during a press conference. “This freshman class is the first class we have gotten in the doors here, and we only had a few months to recruit it. Our first true freshmen class is coming up. Building your program is through recruiting as well. We’re establishing habits, we’re establishing a standard, we’re establishing those things, but that takes time. We’re making great progress.
“We’re still obviously building this thing.”
LSU finished with the No. 12 class in 2022 and are off and running in 2024 as well checking in at No. 4 early in the cycle.
