Ahmad Breaux committed to LSU following a weekend visit to Baton Rouge. A former Duke commit, he adds to a Tigers class ranked No. 2 nationally per 247Sports.
“For one, LSU was the perfect fit for my style of being coached,” Breaux told 247Sports. “They coach their players to be relentless, physical, and the best at whatever they do on or off the field. I wanted to be a part of a system unlike any other in college football and an even greater culture.
“This university isn’t just a regular university, it’s home.”
Tabbed by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 42 edge rusher and No. 14 prospect in the state. Other offers included Missouri, Ole Miss, and Purdue. He is committed No. 10 for Kelly and the company in the 2024 cycle.
“The trajectory of this program is exciting because it will only go up from here,” Breaux said. “The system that Coach Kelly has in place will bring us to the top of college football and win championships, and I’m confident in it!”
Breaux loved how he fit in with his future teammates and looks forward to helping them build on an SEC Title game appearance this past fall.
“The players. I can relate to them because we’re all from Louisiana,” Breaux said. “I’ve played these dudes, met some, and even met some in person before they even stepped foot on LSU campus.
