Head coach Brian Kelly said that Thomas has cleared the concussion protocol and will play in Saturday’s game against UAB, Scott Rabalais of The Advocate reports.

Thomas missed LSU’s Week 11 win over Arkansas due to a concussion he suffered the week prior versus Alabama, but he’s since cleared protocols and is in line to return for Saturday’s contest against UAB. The sophomore wide receiver has amassed 20 receptions for 280 yards and three touchdowns across nine games played this season, and he’ll now provide the Tigers with another weapon on offense this weekend.
